Types of Contributions
• Academic Articles: Results of original empirical or theoretical research.
• Reviews: Critical analyses supported by consistent evidence or relevant literature.
• Interviews: Conducted by the editorial team or collaborators, focusing on experiences, diagnoses, and perspectives on cybersecurity and public policies.
Accepted Languages: English, Portuguese and Spanish. Submissions written in Portuguese or Spanish will be translated into English as part of the publication process, ensuring that all articles are available to the international academic community.
Text Length
• Academic Articles: 4,000 to 6,000 words (including references)
• Reviews: 1,000 to 2,500 words (including references)
• Interviews: No strict limit; final editing at the discretion of the editorial team

Font: Times New Roman, size 12
Spacing: 1.5 lines
Margins: 2.5 cm on all sides
Alignment: Justified
Page numbering: Bottom right corner
Title: Centered and bold
References and Citations (ABNT Style)
Strict adherence to the following standards:
• ABNT NBR 6023:2018 (References)
• ABNT NBR 10520:2002 (Citations)
Examples:
Book: LAST NAME, First name. Title: subtitle. Edition. Place: Publisher, year.
Article: LAST NAME, First name. Article title. Journal Name, Place, v. x, n. x, p. xx-xx, year.
Short quotations (up to 3 lines): In-text, in quotation marks.
Long quotations (more than 3 lines): Separate paragraph, 4 cm indentation, no quotation marks.
Figures, tables, and images must be submitted in high-resolution files, separate from the main manuscript. Authors should clearly indicate in the text where each figure, table, or image should appear.
Abstract and Keywords:
• All academic articles must include an abstract in English (up to 500 words).
• Authors must provide 3 to 5 keywords, separated by semicolons (;).
Evaluation Process
All submitted texts undergo double-blind peer review, according to the following criteria:
General Evaluation Criteria:
1. Originality: Is the proposal original and/or does it offer an innovative approach?
2. Analytical Rigor: Does the text present methodological and argumentative coherence?
3. Clarity and Cohesion: Does the structure and language facilitate understanding?
4. Thematic Relevance: Does the content align with the journal’s objectives and scope?
5. Contribution to the Field: Does the work deepen or broaden the debate on cybersecurity and public policies?
Immediate Rejection Criteria (desk reject):
• Does not meet the journal’s thematic scope
• Fails to meet minimum standards of academic writing or formatting
• Plagiarism or absence of essential citations
• Submission without prior review or with serious structural errors
General Conditions
• No submission or publication fees
• Copyright remains with the authors, with publication under a Creative Commons – Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0 International License (CC BY-NC 4.0)
Online Submission Guidelines
• Submissions must be made through the form available on the journal’s website.
• The form allows the submission of multiple files in the following formats: .doc, .docx, .pdf, .jpeg, .png.
• The main manuscript file must not contain any information identifying the authors. A separate title page should be submitted, including the full names, academic degrees, institutional affiliations, and contact details of all authors and co-authors.
• After submission, the author will receive an automatic confirmation message on the website and via email.
