The Journal of Cybersecurity and Public Policies (JCPP) is a peer-reviewed, open-access academic journal dedicated to advancing research and critical analysis at the intersection of cybersecurity, digital governance, and public policy. All submissions must demonstrate clear relevance to cybersecurity and public policy and adhere to the journal’s academic standards. The journal accepts articles on a rolling basis and publishes three issues per year, released every four months.

JCPP upholds the highest standards of editorial independence. Editorial decisions are made based solely on the academic merit, originality, relevance, and methodological rigor of the submission. The editorial team is committed to impartiality, transparency, and integrity in the peer review and publication process.

All research articles undergo a double-blind peer review process, involving two independent reviewers. Other types of submissions, such as interviews and book reviews, are subject to editorial review. The final decision to accept, revise, or reject a manuscript rests with the Editor-in-Chief, based on reviewers’ recommendations and editorial board input.

JCPP values diversity in authorship, promoting pluralistic and inclusive academic debates. JCPP also values academic integrity and ethical use of emerging technologies. Therefore, it establishes the following guidelines for the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in the editorial process:

For Authors: It is mandatory to declare the use of any AI tool in writing, translation, editing, or data analysis. Authors are fully responsible for the content and must critically review any material generated or assisted by AI.

For Reviewers: It is strictly prohibited to upload manuscript content under review into cloud-based AI systems or public services to preserve confidentiality.

For Editors: AI tools may be used for plagiarism checking and technical support, but all editorial decisions rest solely with human editors.

Unforeseen cases will be evaluated by the Editorial Board, with priority given to ethics and scientific integrity.
